Username Checker
Check if a handle is taken across all major platforms at once.
Picking a handle you can use everywhere makes your brand easier to find and easier to trust. Instead of opening seven tabs and typing the same name into each signup form, enter it once here and get a quick, side-by-side read across the major platforms — so you can spot the obvious conflicts before you settle on a name.
A quick word on honesty: this is a best-effort tool. We check each platform's public profile page and interpret what comes back, but social networks routinely block and rate-limit automated requests. Because of that, results are indicative rather than guaranteed, and you'll sometimes see “Unknown” when a platform simply won't answer. Every result links to the live profile so you can confirm with one tap.
Use it as a fast first pass while you're brainstorming. If a handle comes back clean across the board, that's a strong candidate worth locking in — head to each platform to actually register it, then come back and start scheduling your posts.
Frequently asked questions
How accurate is the username checker?
It's best-effort, not authoritative. We make a quick request to each platform's public profile page and read the response, but social networks heavily rate-limit and block automated requests. That means a result can occasionally be wrong, and 'Unknown' is normal when a platform refuses the check. Always confirm a handle on the platform itself before you commit to it.
Why do some platforms show "Unknown"?
When a platform returns a block (like 403 or 429), times out, or sends a response we can't interpret cleanly, we mark it 'Unknown' rather than guessing. This happens most often on networks that aggressively detect bots. Tap the link next to any result to open the profile and check for yourself.
Which platforms does it check?
Instagram, TikTok, X (Twitter), YouTube, Pinterest, Threads, and Facebook. Each row links straight to that platform's profile URL for the handle so you can verify availability with one tap.
Does a green "Available" guarantee I can register it?
No. 'Available' only means the profile page looked empty when we checked. The handle could be reserved, recently freed, restricted, or grabbed seconds later by someone else. Treat green as a promising lead, not a reservation — register it on the platform to actually claim it.
